RedCar & Cleveland

In partnership with Liberata Xayce worked on a number of projects in local government. We are a preferred supplier to the company. Our role has been to provide project management and change management resources working alongside Liberata and their clients’ people. Illustrative projects include:

  • Redcar & Cleveland Metropolitan Borough Council - Xayce developed a future vision for Finance that embodied two key principles: improved financial controls by enabling budget holders to manage their budgets more effectively and efficiency gains of over 20% by adopting selected best practices. The work was done with a joint team involving the MBC, Liberata and Xayce personnel. Xayce subsequently led design and implementation work to put elements of the future vision into practice.
  • Also at Redcar & Cleveland Metropolitan Borough Council, Xayce led work to identify the opportunity for efficiency gains in transport services council-wide. This involved an analysis of current operations and spend, and the development of key elements of a future vision for transport services; including for example, the introduction of a council-wide transport coordination role. Efficiency gains of up to 5% were identified.
  • Pendle Borough Council, Xayce led a review of Operational Services that identified the opportunity for efficiency gains in this service area. A key focus for the review was the integration of the front and back offices, and integration with operatives in the field. Another focus was the use of mobile technologies. The work drew on resources from both Liberata and the Council.
